Ultimate Sex Playlist: African Edition

Okay Adventurers, which of you like music? Raise your hands. Thought so. There’s a whole post from years and years ago to support this. I love music. Always have, always will and I’ve always believed that music can be an integral part of any sex session. It can set the mood, it can say lovey-dovey things you aren’t yet ready to admit; it can be a conversation starter because the song can say something a little out there that you can laugh about or say something that sounds very appealing that you can suggest, while still always being able to say “It’s just the song oo” and give yourself an out; it can provide a great beat to move your hips to; it can give you motivation when the wind is going out of your sails; chale, it can do everything but cure cancer. I’ve always had what I call a “babymakin’ musiq” playlist. Sadly, it has always consisted of a mix of R&B, soul, neo-soul, reggae and dancehall. With some gospel thrown in there for when I say “Oh my God, I’m coming!”  (Nah, I’m kidding).

I’ve always listened to a bunch of African music but for some reason I never got around to utilizing its innate sex-scene-setting abilities. Then about a year ago I saw the light. So my loves I thought I’d share my African sex playlist with you. I call it “Ahundzi and Atumpan.” I believe sexing music should capture all stages: start with romance for the flirting, get suggestive for the foreplay, get rhythmic for the riding, get reggaelicous for the winding down and then get mellow for the afterglow. With an African sex playlist I’ve discovered that the riding part is the longest, partly because that is my style and then also because African music is beat-heavy so a lot of it is not exactly suitable for stroking hair and gazing into eyes. So check out the playlist, pick your favorite tracks from each section, modify it to your own specific sexytimes trajectory and enjoy.
