Are you an African woman with a story to tell? Adventurous Women, the exciting new magazine from MASI Media dedicated to celebrating the lives and experiences of African women, is now accepting pitches for its first edition. We are seeking captivating and empowering stories that delve into the realm of sexuality and sexual life, with a focus on life lessons learned from real experiences.
At MASI Media, we believe in the power of authentic storytelling. We believe that by sharing our personal experiences, we can inspire and empower others. We want to create a platform where African women can come together to learn from one another, celebrate their diverse journeys, and embrace their sexuality with confidence.
Whether it’s your own story or that of someone close to you (with permission from the originator of the story), we want to hear it.
Pitching Guidelines:
- Uniqueness: We are looking for stories that stand out from the crowd. Share something that hasn’t been heard before, a perspective that challenges societal norms, or an experience that others can learn from.
- Authenticity: Your story should be genuine and heartfelt. We value honesty and vulnerability, as they allow readers to connect with your experiences on a deeper level.
- Impact: Consider the lessons or insights readers can gain from your story. How can your experiences shape and empower others? We want stories that have the power to make a difference in the lives of our readers.
- Language of Publication: Pitches should be written in English.
- Cost: Submission is free! If your pitch is selected, compensation will be provided for your contribution.
Format:
- Pitches should be submitted in written format, with a maximum length of 500 words.
- Include a brief introduction about yourself and why you are passionate about sharing this particular story.
- Outline the key points of your story and the life lesson you hope to convey.
